"Capterra's Request for ID Lacks Clarity on Data Handling - Poor Customer Support"
I took some time to write a thorough review about the service I’m using on Capterra. After three weeks, I received an email from them asking for a copy of my ID. I responded, inquiring why they needed it and how they intended to handle such sensitive personal information. A couple of weeks later, I got a formal response stating that my review wouldn’t be published. None of my questions were answered in their reply. Honestly, this company feels pretty shady and untrustworthy to me.
